Janita and Barry have been involved with dance in Christchurch for over 30 years.

Starting off with Rock 'n' Roll while in their teens, they moved to Ballroom & Latin in their early 20's and have been hooked ever since!

We have competed and won at local competitions and have ranked in the top 6 at a National level.  We want to give back to Christchurch by sharing our passion, knowledge and expertise to build a vibrant and strong social and competitive dance community in Christchurch.

Janita is qualified to Associate level in the Ballroom, Latin and New Vogue styles of dance with the New Zealand Federations of Dance Teachers.  She is currently studying towards gaining her Licentiate degrees.  Janita also adjudicates at local competitions and other competitions around the country when the opportunity arises.

Both Barry and Janita are qualified scrutineers in the Skating System through the British Dance Council.
